'Love Lines' is out ! A new chapter starts now!

It's September 29 2023 and since few hours LP's new record is out.

I definitely can understand why it's called 'Love Lines'.

I mean LP is reflecting themself and is "talking" about their last two long relationships

Definitely wanna share some feelings i had when i listened to the new songs.

First of all it's really huge how LP is talking about their emotions and thoughts.

On this record they open up their soul like a book for us that we can read. For an artist kinda crazy but loving and deep.

Okay now I have to laugh a little bit because in between I write my blog, LP was live on YouTube and answered one of my questions, you can see it on my IG page.

Okay, now back to the business! ;-)

I can literally feel that they made the record with friends. The lyrics and melody feels familiar but the texts have still a deep message. Do you maybe know what I want to say ?

Even if LP is talking about themself, I have the feeling we can learn from that what they are singing. Talking about the song like 'Golden' and 'Dayglow'.

In 'Golden' it's the line 'don't get broken before it gets beautiful' and in 'Dayglow' it's the line

'Your father and your mother don't have to be the lover that you became' for me.

My personal favourite is the song 'Wild'. It's a whole love letter with a wild and free feeling.

I can really relate to that song because I'm a deep lover and love to the fullest.

The song 'Long Goodbye' reminds me of my first relationship and was a big lesson for my life. I know I'm young okay ? So don't f*cking judge me. I know more big lessons are coming but you can't say that the first relationship you had don't affect you.

The song 'Love Lines' is for me a bit mysterious to be honest. In a way I can understand it but i don't understand it completely. Am I the only one ?

'Hola', even when I write that I have the 'la,la,la' in my head. For me that song has an attitude like dating someone in the beginning but in a sexy way. Love that vibe. It's really interesting that in every record is one sexy song.

'One like you' can speak for themself, I guess. I have nothing to say to that. Only that this song is a masterpiece like the other songs LP wrote.

'Love Song' is a good example how much LP can love 'someone'. I don't wanna write the real name of that person because I don't want hate under this blog post but I guess you know which person I mean and that's a bittersweet but beautiful message.

'Big Time' like 'If you wanna live a happy life don't let the good ones go'

This line hits me deep because of LP I found the good ones in my life if I'm going to understand that right. So thankful for everything that LP gave me. Of course LP you're one of the good ones. Love you.

'Blow' is kinda a song that talks about loneliness i guess? I can't really say something about it because that is for me a bit mysterious too. Haha.

'Burn It Down' reminds me of an radio interview LP had a while ago where LP talked about that one of their ex's wants them back a bit. LP even mentioned the person. Not that directly but LP mentioned the song 'Other people' that was written for their ex. If I'm cheeky then definitely not sorry.

'Hold The Light' is really a good example for being alone but to fight for something, isn't it ?

That's how I understand this incredible lyrics. A breakup, even to fail or to fall can be very hard at some point but you always have one thing to hold on. It can be your passion for music, concerts, your friends and loved ones, your family or even yourself. Don't give up so easily. It makes you stronger.

As you can see I can relate at some point to the whole record. It isn't only for LP a personal one. For me too.

Very honest, deep thoughts and emotions in a package mixed with good music but have to mention that this record has a feeling of a free spirit of LP's personality at the same time.

Even the fact that this record was created the most of the time in the Cayman Islands and Palm Springs is a beautiful thing. Definitely want to visit that places.

LP and the team made a beautiful, mesmerizing album.
