'Churches' Chapter

I don't know how to start this blog.

When I think about it, i get a bit emotional because all for me started with the 'Churches' album.

I think for sure that she sing some songs from this record on her new album tour but soon this chapter is originally closed.

For LP I think it was very emotional and it was hard maybe to talk about it for her.

I listened to all of her records and would someone ask me what's my favourite I definitely would say 'Churches'.

She's so rough honest and truthful in this record. I love that.

In one article she said what the inspiration was behind every song.

What I can say is that 'Can't let you leave' is older then the record. ;)

She started to write 'When we touch' in the beginning of the pandemic.

'Rainbow' is inspired from her last relationship and a feeling about her childhood.

"It was about my last relationship, but it was also something like this feeling about my childhood, because I feel like there was something about something in my last relationship that brought up some demons of the anger, and everything in my childhood, and my father. And it’s kind of like… I don’t know, it was a very difficult song to write. I was choked up the the whole time, it was very, very difficult."

I never met such an honest, lovely, truthful, respectful and incredible artist.

'Churches' is making LP naked in my eyes.

She shared such deep emotions in it and in her lyrics, you can read between the lines.

The record is so honest like the songs 'Recovery', 'Lost on you' and 'Muddy Waters'.

Even for myself it's a roller coaster to listen to the 'churches' record.

My personal songs from that record are 'The one that you love', 'Goodbye' and 'My Body'.

This record and even the concerts are so special that i want a live record from that.

I'm so thankful because of the 'churches' journey.

I know so many people and got new friends.

One of my biggest highlights during the 'churches' journey was to meet LP.

I met LP for the first time.

This record journey was very intense for me.

Soon a new journey is starting... can't wait!
